Framed Art

Framed art is one of the most effective ways to decorate your home or office. A lot of people rely on framed art because it is a fast and easy way to make a change to a homes dcor and is relatively inexpensive compared to other forms of artwork. Once you add this to your room, your room will not only look more appealing but it will also be able to reflect your personality.

Why framed art?

Any piece of fine art deserves a fine frame in order to preserve its beauty and quality. This fine piece of artwork can get damaged or harmed in moving or handling that is why it should be protected at all times. Dust and dirt can also cause this to lose its fine quality so it is best to protect it from the said elements.

Aside from this, framing also enhances the aesthetics of the artwork. No matter how small or simple an artwork is, when it is framed, it can turn into a more artistic piece. So, if you want to make sure that your framed art will look even better, you can ask a professional framer for good advice about the kind of frame that will work best with your painting.

Glass vs. Acrylics

Choosing the right framed art for your room can be a difficult task. But with the help of a professional framer, you can choose between two good options, either framed art glazed with glass or with acrylics.

Most framed art is glazed with glass because it is easier to clean and cheaper. But glass can be heavy and it is fragile. That is why glass is better for small piece of artwork so it will be easier to handle.

Acrylics, on the other hand, are a much lighter options so these are good options for larger artworks. These are shatterproof and can be treated to protect your artwork from ultraviolet rays. But unlike glass, acrylic attracts dust, making it harder to clean.

Framed art is a good choice to include in your home decorating project. Whether it is glazed with glass or acrylics, for sure it can add a different kind of look and feel for your home or office.
