Organization is essential for any homeschool parent. Sometimes things can get a little overwhelming. These tips may help to organize your lessons.
Always try to prepare your lessons at least two weeks in advance. At our house we print out nine weeks of work and separate it into nine different folders. The folders are divided by days of the week.
For example I want my children to read a 100 page book in two weeks. I print the entire book, divide it into 10 page segments and put those pages into the folder divided into 5 days. They will read ten pages of the book per day and will finish it within the time period I've set out. Repeat the process for your other subjects.
The amount of work per day is dependent upon your child's ability. Don't underestimate how much they can accomplish. You would be surprised how much they can do when given a chance.
