How to Hire a Webdesigner...or Should You Make One Yourself?

Creating a Website that works is the main goal of a website. A website that works is one that attracts visitors who are potential clients or customers and gets them to do what you want. Your most wanted response can be anything from purchasing a product, E-book or your service.

The way that is done is by creating a website that focuses on high quality content - giving people what they are looking for and what they are usually looking for is information. Even if you are creating a website for your service business such as a massage therapy practice, what you will need to provide is enough information about yourself, what you do and what solution you provide so that they will trust you enough to pick up the phone and call.

Most webdesigners know very little about how to do that. Most designers know about html, css, graphics, php stuff that I don't even know what it all means myself! They usually don't know how to get traffic to your site and get you what you want - the click or call.

To do that a website must:

1. Provide high quality content that interest the search engines and people using them.

2. Use keywords that are in demand (being searched for by people).

3. Make good use of the headline, metatags and keywords because that is what shows up in the search engine listing

4. Must be able to get your website to the first page of the major search engines (Google, MSN, AOL, Yahoo!)

5. Must be able to get people who are searching for what you have to offer to click on your listing.

6. Must be able to build trust by explaining thoroughly what is is that you do and what solution you can provide for that reader (potential client)

7. Must not cost you an arm and a leg because you will be needing those to work and play more.

The way to decide on a webdesigner is if they know how to do all of that and will guarantee their results!

The only way I have found to do just that is to use the Sitebuildit! System and do create the website yourself or hire a Sitebuildit! Webmaster to do the trick!
