Spend Thrifts in Government and Their Political String Pullers

Why do we allow our government to waste taxpayers money on known and obvious abuses? We have all heard of the lobbyist deal making that goes on and selling out to the highest bidder. We have all watched pet projects go on in many political districts and heard about government funding contractors and such for rather worthless projects, which do not readily serve the community or the overall common good.

Yet this goes on in our government everyday. Wouldnt it be nice if there was just a little more competition in government contracting and a few less juicy bone gifts to help the chances of funding the political war chest of crooked politicians? It is truly amazing how much of this BS goes on and indeed for those good companies, which often do get these juicy contracts, consider if you will that while building up their companies they must have been competitive to get that strong in the first place so why is it that they deserve or even need a free bone now? Cant they compete for it?

It seems our public officials are so quick to hand out money and find it so difficult to reign in their spending that they are making a complete mockery of the process. Indeed we can do better than this and our great companies need not be made weak, it does them no honor and does not help them remain strong to give them a fish. Consider this.
