The Power of Attracting Creation

During an interview, a journalist was shocked at my belief that I attract and create everything that happens to me. He thought he was going to get me by throwing out circumstances that do not affect anyone directly. Of course, he was acting as a journalist should, but what he didnt realize is that he was actually learning something and so would his readers.

We attract and create everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING, that happens to us. If what happens to us is something positive or even a miracle, we create and attract it by being positive and by doing positive things for others. When we do something nice for someone (especially when we do it anonymously), we attract that same kind of energy to ourselves. We get what we give.

If what has come into our lives is a person, we attracted that person through an aspect of ourselves. For instance, lets say Julie meets Greg and he seems to be the perfect mate for her. Everything is perfect about him, but especially his charity work. As it turns out, he is an individual who gives his time, his energy, and his money to his passion.

Julie has attracted him for one of several reasons:

She needs to learn to be more giving.

Charity work is also a passion of hers and she finds great value in a man who is involved in this same process.

She needs to follow her passions.

She is his teacher he needs to learn how to slow down and take care of himself.

In other words, Greg is a student, a teacher, a peer, or any of the above. The main idea is that there is a core theme here, whether its passions, giving, or self-care. They attracted each other because of the theme.

Now, lets say Julie had attracted something else, like a terrible accident that left her with several broken bones and a few months in the hospital. Why did this happen to her? Well, lets look at what the theme might be here.

She could have needed to slow down and take care of herself and after several warnings from the Universe, she had to learn it the hard way.

It could be that she has some dramatic life changes coming and the only way to get her to leave her present way of life would be to create an accident. (She could know this consciously or not. Her big life changes would attract the accident.)

She is an angel (or a teacher) for several people in her life people who need to get in touch with something within themselves that they cant find without help.

Maybe Greg is the doctor who will be taking care of her and this is the only way they could meet.

We attract and create everything in our lives through what we do, what we say (to others and to ourselves), what we think, how we feel, and what we need to learn. This is why its always a good idea to go within and figure out what we need to learn, so we dont have to learn it the hard way. The Universe will fill in whats missing!

My challenge to you is to figure out whats missing. Ask yourself these questions:

What do I want in my life?
What do I need to learn?
What questions do I have?
What am I telling myself?
What am I telling others?
What am I feeling today? Is it positive or negative?
What positive things can I do for others?

Once you have the answers to these questions, you will have a map for how to proceed with creating and attracting what you want. (Tip: The more you do this, the faster you create and attract anything positive or negative.) The big thing here is you have to BELIEVE you can do this or it wont work. How do you come to believe in a thing like this? By practicing. Start with little things that dont matter and work your way up from there.

Believe me, this works.
