Kowloon City

Formerly known as the Walled City, Kowloon Hong Kong holds special memories for the British colonials and tourists who view it as a tourist attraction to bring back memories and have a taste of the old China. The elegant Kowloon Walled City Park preserves the heritage of the mythical Walled City. The Jiangnan garden style of the Qing Dynasty has been used to base the park into eight parts. In the center is the Yamen which is a three hall structure housing a photo exhibition and a few relics used or found in the Walled City.

An important historical relic not to be missed in Kowloon is Sung Wong Toi which means Terrace of the Sung kings. This tall boulder stands atop Sacred Hill above Kowloon Bay. Tourists to the city can travel by air as the city has an airport of its own, Kai Tak Airport. The Kowloon hotels are modern and provide the best of amenities and facilities to facilitate a better stay for the international tourist.
