Can we build a car which is wind powered with solar power backup to constantly charge the batteries? It is possible but as on member of a think tank and former engineer stated, the big issue is weight. We must keep any solar powered car totally lightweight for it to work. Is the technology now advanced enough in solar cells and lightweight materials to make such a dream a reality? This is the question. Indeed, we must me do some research on this.
