Toyota Celica: Focusing on Details

The 2006 Toyota Celica has been created with a design that provides its passengers space and comfort. Its design has a flowing kind of effect that makes you feel at ease and comfortable. This new vehicle has racy lines that are very detailed. These lines provide and exude an aura of a performance that would be high technology. And yes, the 2006 Toyota Celica does not fail this perception. It does deliver superbly. In the automobile market, it is said that this vehicle's competitors include the Acura RSX, the Honda Civic Si, and the Volkswagen New Beetle.

Upon its introduction, the 2006 Toyota Celica has been made available in several trim levels. These trim levels comprise of the GT and the GT-S. The GT trim level comes equipped with a standard 1.8 liter I4 engine that has the capacity to produce some 140 units of horsepower. It can also achieve 27 mpg for driving in the city and some 33 mpg for highway travails. Made standard for this vehicle is a five speed manual transmission system with overdrive. Given as an option is a four speed automatic transmission system with overdrive.

Upgrades for the 2006 Toyota Celica GT trim level include power windows and door locks as well as a cruise control. You could also add in aggressively styled front and rear bumpers as well as rocker panels and a rear spoiler. There also is an option for having a heavy duty battery and starter motor plus intermittent rear window wipers. Made standard are 15 inch aluminum alloy wheels with five spokes. There also is the anti lock brake system, a power tilt and slide moonroof with retained power and sunshade, integrated fog lamps, as well as the remote keyless entry system.

As per the GT-S trim level, this comes equipped with a standard 1.8 liter I4 engine which can produce some 180 units of horsepower. It has the capability to achieve 23 mpg in the city and 32 mpg for driving on the highway. Made standard for this vehicle is a six speed manual transmission system with overdrive. If it is time to spruce up the 2006 Toyota Celica GTS, the options include aggressively styled front and rear bumpers, rocker panels, rear spoilers, 16 inch aluminum alloy wheels with five spokes, high intensity discharge headlamps, a power and tilt slide moonroof with retained power and sunshade, a rear spoiler, leather trimmed sport seats, as well as a remote keyless entry system.
